List of Smartphones Getting Android 10 Update (Check Yours)

It was almost a year back when Google came out with Android 9.0 (Pie) version. Now, it’s the time to upgrade and witness another Android version on the roll i.e. Android 10.0. Although the name is not yet given, the new Android version will have 29 API Levels.

The new Android 10.0 upgrade, which was released on 3rd September this year, has many new and updated features like a dark mode for the complete device, more privacy settings, better customization, Live captions, Gesture navigation, Sound amplifier, Focus mode, and much more over previous versions.

Where all other smartphone manufacturers will take some time to integrate the new update on their devices, Google always ranks top in giving timely updates. There are still Android users who are stuck to versions older than Android 9.0. This is because not everyone can upgrade their device as frequent as Google’s updates. 

Although Google’s Android update frequency is improved but users expectation is still high. Well, let’s keep this topic for some other day, today I’m going to tell you when your Android device will exactly notify you for the latest update of Android 10.0 version.

Though there is no official announcement for the update of Android smartphone brands with the new version release, you will find here the answers to some of the questions which are getting up in your mind right now.

1. Google Pixel

Definitely, no other Android brand before Google can release the new update. And why not! After all Google Pixel is the native brand of Android owner. When Android Pie was released, Google pixel group (From Google Pixel 2 to Google Pixel 3A XL) was the first to get the Pie update.

Google Pixel is Google’s flagship device series and probably that’s the reason that even the oldest line-up device of Google Pixel series is still getting the new updates of Android version.

2. Nokia

Nokia all though falls behind in the race of smartphone manufacturers, is expected to update some of its premium devices with Android 10.0. Nokia devices run on Android One. Android one is the stock version of the Android family and is known for receiving timely updates. Mr. Juho Sarvikas, who is the CEO of HMD Global (Nokia is owned by HMD Global), tweeted recently in this regards. He was sounding quite excited to welcome the new update in Nokia smartphones. He has cleared that the update will be live in the 4th Quarter of 2019 and continue till 2nd Quarter of 2020.
